Hands-On Learning & Creativity at Art in the Park

Art in the Park, a free summer event held at Hillsboro parks, combines storytelling and creative projects designed to encourage young learners to explore their artistic side. Children and their families are invited to join in the fun and participate in storytelling and interactive art projects. Inspiring Young Artists in Hillsboro Parks
This summer, parks throughout Hillsboro will once again become a hub of creativity thanks to Art in the Park. During this free summer program, participants are encouraged to engage in interactive art projects that foster self-expression, inspire imagination and build important life skills. Projects often include drawing, painting, and even mixed-media creations. While activities are designed with elementary and middle school students in mind, younger children are certainly welcome to join in. Community funding makes it possible for all children to participate in creative programs that might otherwise be inaccessible, while allowing Golden Road Arts to provide hands-on art experiences for Hillsboro youth and their families. This initiative highlights the vital role community support plays in nurturing young artists.
