Barbara Mason Teaches Art Educators Elementary Printmaking Workshop October 9

Barbara Mason – Arts Educator & Printmaker – Teaches Printmaking

Barbara Mason is a lifelong artist and printmaker – an arts advocate and educator and an active philanthropist in the community. Founder of Golden Road Arts, a free platform providing art lessons for parents and teachers, she works actively out of her artist collective and printmaking studio – Golden Road Arts – in the Oregon Countryside.

The Hillsboro and Beaverton School Districts have shared Barbara’s many artistic contributions since 1976 and through her unending volunteering – she has served on countless Boards including the Portland Art Museum and was a founding board member of the Art in the Pearl. As current President of the Board of Print Arts Northwest – the gallery and studio of the Northwest Print Council – she is also past director and an artist of Waterstone Gallery in Portland. Barbara dedicates many hours each year as a volunteer – teaching printmaking, and has shown her work nationally and internationally for the last 25 years. Her arts instruction and art literacy videos, lessons and activities can be accessed online – worldwide – helping parents and teachers bring art to young children. Barbara partners with many community organizations bringing art and in-person demos and activities to life.
