Parents, teachers and students are welcome at Golden Road Arts.
Oregon artist and Golden Road Arts volunteer, Martin Conley created an artistic rendition of Reedville Elementary.
Martin created his rendition by repurposing the school’s original flooring material after Reedville Elementary staff and students were feeling nostalgic about the school’s impending renovations. A few creative minds came together and a beautiful art piece was made with Martin’s help.
A key element of art education is what educators often refer to as art literacy. Integrating demonstrations of historical styles and using child-friendly media – the artists at Golden Road Arts provide free art lessons for kindergarten through middle school students.
Giving students an early introduction to and awareness of key artists, their individual artistic styles and the impact on other artists and art movements creates not only a passion for art but a true appreciation of art.
Whether you are a parent, teacher or student our art lessons are free.
The art featured in our online gallery is available for browsing and purchase.
By spreading the word, making a donation or purchasing art you can help us.
